Nowhere in the UK has a story to match Abraham Moon’s.  In operation for over 175 years, this woollen mill is remarkable as the last place in England to take in raw wool and handle the whole production process through to the finished cloth.

This means incredible attention to detail and consistent quality at every stage of weaving.  That’s why Moon’s wools and tweeds are used by top name designers like Vivienne Westwood and Ralph Lauren. But back in 2012, Managing Director John Walsh decided there was more to add to the Abraham Moon story:

"I wanted to see Moon original designer clothing.  Stylish countrywear, in on-trend tweeds with jewel coloured linings, contrast stitching and quirky buttonholes - bringing classic designs bang up-to-date.  We're taking our family story one step further adding to five generations of Moon's heritage."

Moon’s tweed and wool jackets or coats, for men and women, are for keeps.  And truly exclusive, since The Courtyard is home to the only Moon's clothing shop in existence.  With a range of shirts, knitwear and accessories, there's bound to be something to suit.  Alongside, you’ll find Moon’s signature rugs and throws, cushions and home-ware, plus quirky country gifts.  Their pattern books, for tactile and long-lasting furnishing fabrics, complete the range and offer endless inspiration.
