A very proud day today for everybody who has been involved in the creation of The Courtyard as the CPRE awarded us their 'Mark' award
This is the first to be awarded by CPRE Chairman, Sir Peter Waine, in over 5 years. What an achievement! The Mark award was granted to us for our sympathetic design and restoration of The Courtyard buildings, for our low impact on the surrounding environment and for the creation of local, rural employment.
Special mention to Simon and Sally Robinson of Dalesbred along with Mark Hancock who together own The Courtyard and set the wheels in motion; Mason Gillibrand Architects and particularly Nick Gillibrand; Duncan Hartley, Planning Director at Rural Solutions Ltd and Keith Blades Construction who made The Courtyard happen!
Pictured are Mark and Simon with our plaque.
